Cameos have been around since ancient times. The Sumerians created the first ones, often used as seals. The ancient Greeks and Romans used them on coins and as signet rings. During the Renaissance and in Victorian times they were popular as adornments.
Some say that Cameos bring good luck and fortune to those who wear them.
