The Smile of Silla is a Korean cultural artifact from the seventh century that was used as a roof-end tile on a temple in the Silla Kingdom. I picked up a clay replica years ago when living in South Korea and love having it in the home. The smile is believed to soothe bad spirits and shoo them calmly away. It is considered a symbol of protection and positivity. We love the Smile of Silla and wanted to make a silver version to be worn as a talisman to bring good luck and protection to the wearer.✨
